Security Framework for Agent-Based Cloud Computing

    Get PDF
Agent can play a key role in bringing suitable cloud services to the customer based on their requirements. In agent based cloud computing, agent does negotiation, coordination, cooperation and collaboration on behalf of the customer to make the decisions in efficient manner. However the agent based cloud computing have some security issues like (a.) addition of malicious agent in the cloud environment which could demolish the process by attacking other agents, (b.) denial of service by creating flooding attacks on other involved agents. (c.) Some of the exceptions in the agent interaction protocol such as Not-Understood and Cancel_Meta protocol can be misused and may lead to terminating the connection of all the other agents participating in the negotiating services. Also, this paper proposes algorithms to solve these issues to ensure that there will be no intervention of any malicious activities during the agent interaction

Background: The NRHM framework of implementation mentions provision of Village Health and Sanitation Committee (VHSC) in each revenue village that has to be formed within the overall framework of Panchayati Raj Institution (PRI). Objective: To review the current status of formation, training and functioning of VHSCs in Indore district and mechanism of utilization of united funds in these VHSCs. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional study was carried out in 32 villages, of four blocks of Indore district. Different stakeholders of VHSCs of these 32 villages were included purposively as study subjects. Data was collected using predesigned, pretested semi structured questionnaires and checklist. Total of 133 interviews of different stakeholders and 32 record reviews were carried out. The quantitative data collected by interviews and record reviews was analyzed by SPSS software and qualitative data was analyzed manually using qualifier. Results: Significant association between knowledge and awareness about any aspect of VHSC and type of stakeholder has been observed. PRI members and Self Help Group (SHG) members have been found to be totally ignorant about many aspects of VHSC. No formal training has ever been imparted to the members of VHSCs regarding functioning of VHSC at village level. None of the functionaries were found to be aware of village health plan. Conclusion: The efficiency and impact of VHSCs have been found to be very limited

Factors influencing return to work after hip and knee replacement

Background: Return to employment is one of the key goals of joint replacement surgery in the working-age population. There is limited quantitative and qualitative research focusing on return to work after hip and knee replacement. It remains unclear why certain groups of patients are not able to achieve sufficient functional improvement to allow productive return to work while others can. Very little is known about the individual patient and employer perspectives in this regard. Aims: To review current evidence for the factors influencing employment outcomes in patients undergoing hip and knee replacement. Methods: Original articles and reviews in Medline, Embase and PsycINFO from 1987 to 2013 were included in the analysis. Results: Age, patient motivation, employment before surgery and type of job were found to be important factors in determining return to work following hip and knee replacement. Conclusions: There is a need for further qualitative work on how and why these factors influence employment outcomes. Keywords: Arthritis; joint replacement; occupational rehabilitation; qualitative

A field experiment was laid out in split plot design on residual effect of treatments comprising three nitrogen levels viz. N75 (N1), N100 (N2) and N125 (N3) in main-plot treatments and seven weed control treatments viz. (W1-butachlor + 1 Hand Weeding, W2-butachlor + 2 Mechanical Weeding, W3-butachlor + 2,4-D, W4-bispyribac sodium, W5-butachlor + bispyribac sodium, W6-HW-2, W7- control) as sub-plot treatments conducted during 2015-16 and 2016-17 at the Rajaula Agriculture Farm, MGCGVV, Satna (M.P.) to study the residual effect of N-levels and weed control methods on growth, yield and economics of wheat grown after rice. In case of succeeding wheat, the residual 125 kg N/ha performed the best with respect to growth, yield-attributes with the result 31.11 q/ha grain yield and Rs.33509/ha income. While, under sub plot treatments, Hand weedings two times were recorded significant grain yield (28.66 q/ha) and straw yield (38.17 q/ha) at (P <0.05) over control. However it was found non-significant different and also noticed higher over rest treatments. In this succession, Butachlor + 2, 4-D (0.80 kg/ha) was higher but in second position and similar trend was observed in successive way with rest of treatments

This work present web portal designed for managing t raining and placement data. The objective of this project is to develop a system that can be used by placement cell of a college. The purpose is to design a system that provides functionalities to perform the activities related to placement services. It is based on complete modular architecture. This modularity of the architecture will allow us to replace or add modules in the future as a way to enhance a particular feature of particular situation. This system can be used as an application for the TPO of th e college manages the student information with regards to training and placement. In the present work some of the modules are implemented by means of managing training and placement data. Whereas module responsible for adopting student information, company information and study material require for company placement
